Remote Acces to Embedded VM on SME
Has anyone successfully configured remote access to embedded VM on the SME. The IPO 2.1 product description say it can be done using the AA.
• **Remote access can be provided via the embedded Auto Attendant on the Small Office Edition. IS there a procedure on how this is setup? Thanks....

Step 1: make sure each user has a PIN Code set on the VM tab of the user, otherwise remote Access is prohibited.
Step 2: create a new system ShortCode like this : SC : *99 TN : ? LGID : 0 Funct: VoiceMailCollect Step 3 : in the AA select the key the user should use. set its action to Transfer to Operator and set the destination to *99 External callers to the auto-attendant selecting that right option will now be challenged to enter the mailbox number and then the mailbox access code. Each should be followed by #. If entered correctly they will be able to collect messages. Hope this will answer your question. |
