Anyway to distinguish trunk on CLID
IP403 2.1.24, 3 POTS, two 2500 sets with CLID. Very Basic
Is there any possible way to make 2500 set either display info that can distinguish what line it came in on? I understand there is no distinctive ring, nor real key system mode, but I have multiple hunt groups using the same stations and I can't tell where the call came from without keeping monitor open and looking for the line saying BEND LINE=x. Is it possible to add a simple character to the clid and have it pass to the display with the CLID. Like from SMITH,JOHN 888-555-1234 to 1SMITH,JOHN 888-555-1234 Or any method for that matter, without loosing the CLID. This has been driving me nuts for a while! Thanks |
