IP Office Modem Enabled Trunk

Do you know how to setup the trunk 1 of a 403 to use the internalmodem for remote management?
I setup the Analog Trunk 1 "Modem Enabled" parameter to ON, but I the line is ringing with no response
Thanks

Re: IP Office Modem Enabled Trunk

I have had an absolute nightmare trying to get online to systems with these types of setup without a modem card installed.
What i have found is that you can get online but you need to dial into the ipoffice using an analog line from your office. If i try to dial in via ISDN i get no where.

Re: IP Office Modem Enabled Trunk

If you want to dail in you must program a incoming Route with destenation (DialIn) carier (AllData)
Dialln is pointed at a RAS.
Then you need the standaard user RemoteAdministrator ore make a new one.
This is the username and password for your dailup of your ISDN Modem.
Works great.

If you send a IP-Office with Fabrik.CFG at a client and he put it on the ISDN-Line you can progam it
straigt away from home ore office.

Re: IP Office Modem Enabled Trunk

If you want to dial in for remote service from a analogue line on a IP 4xx you need the additional modem card, only Small Office has 4 analogue trunk lines build in were you can use the first trunk for remote service only ( all calls received on this trunk will go to the modem ) if there is a analogue line connected of course.
If you do not have a analogue line on the SmallOffice then connect a POT to the 1st analogue line, define a incoming Call Route on ISDN to the POT and you will be connected to the build in modem.

For all IPO's:
By default all settings are there for ISDN.
Connect the IPO to ISDN, create a dial-up networking in your PC with static ip address 192.168.99.10, Username = RemoteManager and Password = thepword.
Dial any DDI number into the IPO and enter the Username and Password, then you can use the Manager to configure the IPO.
