Can You Copy a Call-Flow Module?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to copy a call flow module in VoiceMail Pro (2.1 (6))?

I have an elaborate module with several hundred connections, and now I need a copy of it for another user. (Not an exact copy, but close enough that I want to start with the one I have.) I'm not having much success with clicking on all the objects because it's so hard to tell when I have all the connections selected and which ones I overlooked.

Thanks,
Carl

Select all actions, that is : hold down the shift key, click and hold right mouse key in the upper left corner and move the mouse down to the lower right corner.
If aal actions are selected press Ctrl-C, open a new start action and press Ctrl-V.
All actions, announcements etc will be copied, only the connections not.
Hope this helps you.

Export the module only, then you can import it for your other customer. Go to file-import/export, when selecting a file name and location be sure to give it a .mod extension and NOT .mdb, hit next and it will prompt you which modules you want to export.

Re: Can You Copy a Call-Flow Module?

Thanks, Cephas. That worked perfectly and probably saved me hours.

If anyone needs to do the same thing, you can even import the module on the same system. To do so, after you export the module as a .mod file, you can edit the XML to change the name of the module (which appears as plain text exactly once near the top), then save the change and re-import the .mod file. VMPro will show you the new module name and will import it perfectly (or at least it did for me).

Thanks Again,
Carl
