Dear Friends.
Anybody did the VOIP with Optical Fiber, The secnario is like this: We got the requirement of one of our customer has got 1 HQ & 4 branches all the branches connected using Optical Fiber, he needs to do the VOIP using this insfrastructure. Pls anyone can guide me ... how to do this , what components are required. How to do the routing of calls. Thanks reddy |

Re: Optical fiber with IPO
Optical is just like any other networking method as far as the IPO is concerned. The customer (or his IT people) will deal with the networking hardware. You will either connect via the LAN on the front, or (unlikely in North America) via the v.35 WAN port on the back.
Either way just follow the standard applicable job aids. Peter |
