Entry Promt recording In VM PRO

Helo.

I recorded the entry for Auo Attendant in VM PRO 2.0, i gave it a name welcome.wav, when it is recording it shows the file & sample , even the time about 40 sec, after i did save & make live, again i checked the entry promt it shows me the welcom.wav wave but in the lenghth field it shows 00.

pls tell me how much time we can record the entry prompt, is there any time limit.

why it is shpwing 00 where exactl i am doing the mistake.

Thanks & Best Reagrsd.

Re: Entry Promt recording In VM PRO

:) , have you a sound card on machine where instaled VMPRO ?? i guess You dont have , on sheet "ENTRY PROMPTS" / "WAVE EDITOR" - upper on control panel (play stop) you have message with :) "no wave devie ..." and all time you got it 0.0 with length wave :) , if you install a sound card and drivers :) then is changed to correct values :)

Hi Mr.Nokitel.
Thanks for the Guidence.

Even it is showing the Length 0.0 the Auto Attendant will work?

When i play the message it will play .. somebody dial from outside VM PRO will take directly to the mail box .

Thanks & Best Regads.

Re: Entry Promt recording In VM PRO

Just reading what you wrote ... the one you recorded was named welcome.wav and the one showing in the system is welcom.wav. Typo? If not, change the name of the file to welcom.wav and see what happens!
