Re: call from network
Are you talking about a hotline phone, where they pick it up and it automatically dials a specific number? In the user shortcodes put the following:
SC: ?D TN: <number of other office> LG: <whatever> F: Dial And you're off to the races. Peter |

Re: call from network
Ahhhhhh, I understand what you are trying to ask now. You have a WAN connection between 2 sites, 1 with IPOffice and one with a legacy PBX and you want to do h.323 trunking.
You have 2 choices. Buy 2 voip gateways (such as multitech multivoip - www.multitech.com) or buy 1 voip gateway for the non IP Office location, install a VCM5 card in your IPOffice, and purchase a 3rd party IP endpoints licence. Since your integration will be limited by the voip gateway anyway, it's probably cheaper to buy 2 voip gateways. Or better yet, get the remote location to upgrade to IP Office. Peter |

Re: call from network
Hmm Soe 2+4 always looked cheap, how much is a Voip gateway.
although I was thinking of the improved compatibility of using an IPO for the task & why on earth are you looking at these groups on a Sunday?

Re: call from network
List for a 4 port multitech unit for about the same as list for the 3vcm 2T+4A SOE (ie get one more channel with the multitech), or go for a 2 port multitech for $999US list. If 1 port will do only $499US list.
And why are YOU looking at these groups on a sunday?? *grin* Peter |
