Follow me

I posted this once before but still have no resolution.

The purpose of this extension is to have an option for outside callers to be transferred to the police department after hours by pressing 7.

I have set up and extension/user (718) within VMPro 2.0.17. I have set it to follow me unconditional with the police department # inserted.

From within the company (i.e. I dial 718) it will transfer correctly to the outside phone @ the police department.

If the call is placed from outside (i.e. I dial our main phone #) and press 7 (the prompt to transfer to extension 718) VMPro instantly drops the inbound call.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this??
I have opened 3 trouble tickets with AVAYA on this. They send out a tech that does EXACTLY the same things that I have been doing with the same results. Then they leave saying "I'll look into it and get back to you". I have NEVER heard back from anyone.

HELP PLEASE

Can't seem to do it from the VMPro menu. That's why the dummy extension/user.

Re: Follow me

Ahh alog trunks!

Have you got allow forwarding ticked on the trunks?
Without this trunk to trunk transefers are not permited.
also make sure thet you have a reliable disconnect singal (should not be a prob with GS lines)
