Queuing to an Extension
I currenlty have a company using CallQueue to an extension as a system short code. The short code works just fine, but the problem is that the person held in queue has to wait for an infinite amount of time until the destination phone becomes available. Is there any way to program a time out on queue? Also, how can the user at the destination phone see if they have a call in queue or not (it doesn't show up on PM)?
Please help. |

Re: Queuing to an Extension
Are you doing this on a widespread basis, or only for a handfull of users?
If only for a handfull, implement it as several huntgroups with only 1 member each instead. You can then do everything you can with a standard huntgroup, including q-status buttons, overflow, etc. Peter |

Re: Queuing to an Extension
One caveat - if you're running R2.1 downgrade to 2.0.18 first or you'll have no end of problems with your huntgroups. Until the maintenance patch comes out in a week or so - Avaya has admitted there are bugs with the huntgroup feature in R2.1
