Called Number
I was curious about call logging capabilities. I don't have CBC or CCC or any of the call center type applications, but I still need to get some call logging information from the system.
Anybody know what application I need and what kind of information is available? Thanks mallgood. |

Re: Called Number
delta server will wright a SMDR file that contains all the call log info.
it is a csv file so you can process it with excel. otherwise there are call logging programs available (most use deltaserver to supply the base SMDR file anyway)

Re: Called Number
Hmm. Ok I found Delta Server and it seems to be working.. my only concern is that it doesn't run as a service. Is this true? Do I need to keep it running all the time? I have heard of programs that let you run a particular program as a service, perhaps I should look into something like this? Or am I just overlooking an option or something?

Re: Called Number
the current release of Delta server does not run as a service yet
V5 will run as a service & is currently under trial (works fine for call logging) & I could probably e0-mail a copy if you want (use at own risk, no suporrt etc. all the usual disclaimers)

Re: Called Number
If you choose not to go with CCC or CBC, Avaya recommends a call accounting package, like eCAS (assuming you're familiar with that program). It has a nice GUI interface and makes it easy to run reports.

As for V5, that would be great. I would like to try it and see what its like and if its any better than the setup I have now. If you would just email it to me at mallgood (at) gmail.com that would be great. Thanks again. |
