Re: "call record"

the short code should be :
Short Code *96
Numebr E
feature CallRecore

E is a special character that means uses Extn Number.

Alternativly this feature could be programmed under a key on a digital handset

Re: "call record"

Hi Costasha

If you are using a short code such as :

Shortcode: *96
Telephone Number: Blank <---- NOTE
Line Group ID: 0
Feature: CallRecord

to record you own calls, you must first PUT THE CALL ON HOLD, then dial the shortcode, which will then reconnect the caller and start recording into your own mailbox.

Also, I think you need to have Voicemail PRO to record calls.
Cheers

Re: "call record"

Also,

I dont think you need a central short code and a user short code, especially while testing, as you then dont know where the problem is, or conversely, which is working OK!

Re: "call record"

*96, Blank did not work on my test system when I tried it (IP401 V2.1(15) )

* 96, E as a system short code will record into the users mailbox (or wherever specified in the user setup.)
a user short code is not required.
