4602D IP Phone

Does anyone know if there were/are any problems with 1.8 firmware ? and would upgrading to 1.81 resolve issues of phones dropping out and intermittent poor voice quality?

1.8 had a number of issues including owt.

We had whis problem with the Avaya IP office team for 2-3 months before they admited thet the IP-phone guys wer working on problems, we have had no quality issues since the upgrade.
definetly upgrae to V1.8.1 it will cure a multitude of sins

Yes, I have had 6 phones go one way Tx, however one of them was on 1.81.
All upgraded this morning to 1.81.
Had to re-boot the 403 to get them up and running again

See what happens now....
