I have been playing around with 2.1 software


The Phone Manger and Softconsole works Great 2.1

The Voicemail Pro works great for one of my clients
I tried to install this with IMS and no emails when around the building


V2.1 Manager Works fine with 2.0 and 2.1 software level boxes


But 2.1 on the boxes has caused me to have invalid licenses and when you reboot the unit it works Great and latter goes to ivalid.


What have you Guys and Gals experiences been

Just verifying you upgraded the feature key server as well, also are you using the USB dongle?

I tried to install IMS with 2.1 VMPro - no luck at all.
The database service DCOM component would not show up in the list of services/DCOMs even though the installation program reported it installed OK.
Various other IMS related problems also based around DCOM communication. The installation was over 2 domains, though still should have worked.
Spent a lot of time trying to get it working - uninstalling, re-installing etc. Nothing
removed EVERYTHING and re-installed using 2.0 - all worked first time. :(

bigjohn licences going invalid on you is usually caused by a rogue non-R2.1 copy of manager somewhere on the custs network being used to make changes.

koelemon I don't think there is a new feature key server - it's still version 1.0 even when installed off the R2.1 admin CD.

You are right about that, they did however include some new sentinal driverrs for the USB dongle in 2.1 that have been a nasty culprit to some issues I ran into.

Good call about the "rogue" Manager suggestion
