Voice Mail Pro Question

1. I'm making a new user variable, its name is: thedog
How can I use in "Condition Editors"? Maybe "$thedog?

2. Make basic actions "Generic", and put the "Entry Prompts" tabs$KEY then VMPro play the variable.
How can I play the user variable? Do it need TTS?

3. What can I use for $VAR? When does it have value?

1. You wouldn't use condition editor. Use a test user variable action.

2. I don't believe you can do this, even with TTS. If anyone else knows a way, speak up 'cause I would love this ability myself :)

3. $VAR is a general use variable. It won't contain any value unless you put one there. However, its use is very poorly documented. Use $SAV instead, which can be used in a generic action with the syntax Save:<value>

1. And I leave "Not equal to", " Less than" .... and "and, not, or"???

2. Maybe: Generic - Specific tab : "Save:1234", and Generic - Entry Prompts: "$SAV" = Play "1234"
How can I reference user variable in generic action and etc?

New question: Do you know list of generic free format command?

Re: Voice Mail Pro Question

1. Read the help for the test user variable token to learn how to use this.

2. Definately. You can voice system variables only, not user variables.

No I don't have a list of generic free format commands, but would love to have one. If you track one down, post it.
