Recently upgraded an IP406 to 2.018. We were using Music on Hold from an MP3 player, succesfully, however during the upgrade the connected manager had a musiconhold.wav file, which got uploaded.
Although this worked it was not what was required. Have since removed the musiconhold.wav file & rebooted the switch ensuring that no wav file was available, and the MP3 player was connected to the Audio port. We now have NO MUSIC. Rebooted with TFTP log open to verify the switch does NOT upload a wav, but still no music. I have checked the MP3 Player, checked the cable (even changed both), but still no music. Reboots were done via the LAN Anyone got any ideas? Thanks |

Re: Music On Hold
Nick,
I've found there to be a big difference between a reboot via LAN (using manager) and a hard power cycle. My next step would be to power down for ten seconds and see if it makes a difference. Good luck Mike |
