IP office 403 and Avaya 6424s'

I have a user who wants to change her 6408 to a 6424 and have the ability to anwser other users phones can anyone out there tell me how to do this. Thanks !!!

Nothing to swapping the phone - you just have additional buttons you can now program. As for answering other phones, you can use pickup if she can hear the other phones, or use coverage if you want calls to ring at her set at the same time as ringing other peoples phones.

How do I set up coverage so the phones rings in two places, I have 7 numbers I need to add to the 6424. Thanks and I do mean THANKS !!!!!!!

Open up the user form for one of the users who is going to be covered by the 6424, go to the coverage tab, and hit the help button - very straightforward.

Sean,

If you don't want the phone to ring you can set up a dss key for the required users on the 6424 and answer the calls by pressing the key twice.
