    #1
    Hi all,

I am installing option 11C with loop start trunks. When i recieve a call and after the far end disconnect, the trunk port isn't release.
I test in the demac with a buttset and multimeter and i see that when the far ende disconnect, the loop is drop momentarily twice and after give me announce and reproduce busy tone.

Can you help me wiht this thread please.

I have a XUT and DXUT card installed into the system

This is the case with my 61c: the trunk line isn't released until the internal phone drops.

I’m not expert enough to know if this is expected behaviour, or just similarly broken, but that's my experience.

What difference would ground start make? Isn't the CO just reversing the loop for disconnect?

there is not normally supervision on loop start trunks..I know in the DMS-10 you could put on LPDS for the office and that might help . You need Grd start expecially if you have mer mail.
Ground start lines give a ground splash on the tip side to signal the PBX to release.
LPDS gives a loop start a reversal on disconnect..

Get GROUND START TRUNKS. You will have nothing but problems with Loop Start. Trust me.
