    I have an IP trunk set up betreen CM 5 and an IP Office 4.2(14) the IP trunk works perfectly. But I don't get the proper caller ID info between the systems.

    From CM to IP Office I get the Full DID
    From IP Office to CM I get 4 digit extension

    Is there a way to get name and extension?

    We access the IP trunk on CM using a TAC code then putting in the IP Office user extension. On the IP Office I use a Short Code that points to the IP trunk. Any ideas or things to look at would be great.

    Hi there,

    Your problem begins when dialing the TAC code.You must work with the uniform dial plan, aar table and the private-unknown-numbering from the CM side, you may also present or not the extension number with the flag on page 2 (i think) on the station setup ... field (display CPN).
    On the IPOfficei think you donīt have much to apply.

      Got it working using the TAC code. I needed to change the supplimentary Service Protocol from a to b on the trunk and sig group. Now we can use the tac to call and see the caller ID (name) on The IP Office. It works in reverse also I can see IP Office caller ID (Name) on the CM side.
