In addition to the TN464, which can be used for either ISDN or non-ISDN T1s, you can use a TN767 which will only work non-ISDN.

I beg to differ. While the TN464 is preferable for ISDN-PRI, the TN767 will work in a PRI implementation just fine. However, the TN767 will not work in an NFAS situation carrying the signalling channel. It will work fine in a FAS config or as an ISDN-EXT DS1 in an NFAS configuration but it will not carry the D channel as an ISDN-PRI in an NFAS configuration.

TN767, TN464, or a TN2313 will all work with with T1. The TN2313 and TN767 are the most cost effective for a plain vanilla T1.

Never tried using a TN767 with on an ISDN-EXT or in an FAS config. I had been told by my Avaya rep that the 767 couldn't do that. I'll have to experiment with that sometime.

On a G3si, you can use a TN767 in either a N-FAS or FAS configuration. We have several running in the a N-FAS mode w/ TN767. I have not been able to find definitive information about the requirements in the G3r. Our G3r's are configured w/ TN464's in a N-FAS.
