KVM Switch
We are running out of room in our server room and so I'd like to get rid of a couple of monitors and keyboards by puting my eCAS server (runs on a PC), G3si, and Intuity Audix on a KVM Switch so I can work on each of these 3 systems via one monitor and keyboard (color PC monitor).
Has anyone done this before and/or is there any technical reasons why I can't do this? Also, can I swap monitor output cables around per above without having to shut down the switch and Audix box? |

Re: KVM Switch
Quote:
eCAS and Intuity are both Intel based and will work on a KVM. the G3si is a dumb terminal and will not. But you can install procomm plus or ASA on your eCAS box to do the trick. If you have CMS make sure your KVM is compatible with SUN systems. |
