Question help setting up Trunk Group

Hi all,
I need to setup a trunk-group of 6 phone numbers, and have it rings on 4 stations. I'm not sure if I am doing this the right way. but I set up the trunk-group to a destination that points to one of these station. and bridged it to the remaining three stations. so now whenever I get any incoming call on the trunk, it rings on four stations at the same time. I would like to be able to hardcode those stations to go out through this trunk, instead of using our main trunk to go out. is there any way to do this? Thanks.

I am assuming that this is a CO trunk group. The down-n-dirty way is to change dial access in the trunk group to "Y"es and have those users dial the TAC ... or create an AD button on their phones that dials the TAC for them. This will assure that outbound calls go out that specific trunk group whenever the TAC is dialed or the AD button is pressed.

regs,

The proper way to do this is to use a separate COR & route them to a new route pattern containing that trunk group. You have to use the Partition table in order to do this. If the ARS has been set up without using the Partition table, it is probably not worth the effort, & I would use Al's method suggested above. You can tell by looking at the ARS Analysis & see if there are p numbers under the route pattern column. (I'm assuming release 7+) If it contains whole numbers, then the Partition table has not been set up. If you don't know how this works, send me an email to telgoguy@vancouver.hm. I can send you an explaination. if your switch is pre release 7 its different, but still doable, maybe even easier if partitioning has not been set up yet, since you only have to go into partition group 2 & alter the route patterns.
