cross talk

I have users who are getting cross talk on their telephones. what is usually the problem?
I have moved them to a differnt port in the Definity. could it be the carrier?

We have encountered cross-talk when the T's were taking errors; i.e.; slips.

I recently had the same problem and narrowed it down to my CO Trunks coming from my local carrier. Bad copper was the culprit and the cross talk disappeared when we swapped pairs from the street to the D-Marc. I narrowed it down by doing a status station during a call with cross talk occurring.

99 % its the CO, not the pbx

I actually ended up putting the phone on a different pair and it seems to have fixed it.
