Exclamation maintenance void?

Will sticking a non-certified Digital board into a system with maintenance contact void the contract? So if some day a processor card dies they wont say well look what we have here..

Re: maintenance void?

Only for that board and equipment attached to it.

Re: maintenance void?

Thanks, I was told by another vendor that same thing. However he also said you can pay avaya to certify it and add it to the maintenance also.

Hate getting the run about by vendors.

Thanks

Re: maintenance void?

You can have Avaya come out and certify the card. They are basically going to ensure that is is not a gray market item that has a banned serial number. (Sold overseas and then brought back in and sold dirt cheap) They do charge a minor fee for this. You can also buy from certain vendors that have the proper authorization and the product will come to you certified out of the box and at an awesome price. I would recommed calling Kevin at Visoon Technologies. You can get the number off their website at www.visiontechny.com. They have saved several companies major $$$ on parts and service. I would recommend the NY Northeast office in Scaneateles, NY. No, I don't work for them, but have had great luck with them in the past.
