Avaya DTMF strange issue

Hi guys,

I have setup Avaya S8700 over analog lines to route incoming faxes via DTMF
to fax SERVER , Rightfax.

By using means of hunt group a n coverage path, the dtmf is able to pass thru, however the digits i see contain extra digit eg.

send fax to 3933, fax DTMF routing code becomes appended with 2, so the actual route code becomes 23933 and the fax is unable to be sent to the correct box. :(

Any idea why is it so ? Thanks for your help in advance..

Re: Avaya DTMF strange issue

Not enough information. What software is on the s8700? CM 3.x or 4.x??

The analog lines, are they what connects the s8700 to the RightFax? Are the configured in a trunk group in the s8700?

Describe in detail your setup and how the Faxes are received and maybe someone can help you out. I have RightFax T1 tie lines and used UDP and AAR to convert the incoming calls to the digits (ani) the RightFax is expecting.
