CM SNMP Alert format

I have CM 4.0.3 loaded on duplicate S8720 media servers. I have our SNMP setup to alert us on minor/major alarms. We are currently pointing these alerts to a SolarWinds server we have on site.

Here is my question:
Is there a way to manipulate the e-mail alert format received from each alert? Whether it be by using another SNMP reporting software or editing something in CM.

Here is how my emails appear:
9/3/2008 5:01 PM : G3-AVAYA-TRAP:alarmClear.3 SNMP Trap
Received Time:9/3/2008 5:01:23 PM
Source:10.1.70.25(10.1.70.25)
Community:offtotheraces
Variable Bindings
sysUpTime:= 28 days 7 hours 45 minutes 49.34 seconds (244714934)
snmpTrapOID:= G3-AVAYA-TRAP:alarmClear.3 (1.3.6.1.4.1.6889.1.8.1.0.3)
g3clientExternalName:= TXS8720Active
g3alarmsProductID:= 1000206841
g3alarmsAlarmNumber:= FPA:00000:0903170113:0000000000::N
g3alarmsPort:= M:"G350 deregistered from this controller:10.13.3.11:21"
g3alarmsMaintName:= CMG
g3alarmsOnBrd:= 48
g3alarmsAlarmType:= MIN
g3alarmsEntry.26:= 10.1.70.27
g3alarmsEntry.27:=
g3alarmsEntry.28:=

This of course is too much data to understand clearly using a blackberry. The main infomration I need from this alert is "G350 deregistered from this controller"

I then have to identify which MG deregistered.

Anyone know of a way to manipulate these alerts to a more readable alert/e-mail?

Re: CM SNMP Alert format

It is not available to edit this in the server, it would have to be in your trouble tracker.

Re: CM SNMP Alert format

SNMP formats are standardized, so any customization has to be done in (or downstream of) your trap receiver - SolarWinds in this case. I know you can do customization with the net-snmp package, but I have no experience with SolarWinds.
