Post Console (Attendent)

Can someone tell me why the Operators at my facilities cannot dial certain extension within the PBX? When they try to dial them they are getting to there co-worker (another operator). I have changed my phone to the same COR and COS as they console's and I do not have that problem. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.

What does the cover path for these stations look like? Does it redirect the calls to the attd? If so, then SAC may be activated. Do a "status station xxxx" for the phones in question and see if SAC is activated.

SAC is activated on those stations. They cov path is for AUdix and these stations are set to port x so that all calls go to that stations mailbox which is set as a bulletin-board, announcement only.

Got your PM. Strange. What release PBX? Try a "list trace attendant xxxx" where xxxx is the console operator extension number that you will be monitoring and see if you can detect anything curious in the output when she dials.

I did the trace. I fear that there is a problem with the transition from the Conversant IVR back to the switch then to the Audix voicemail box. The trace was as follows:
She dialed the VDN
Ring VEctor xx
active station xxxxx (the Conversant)
conf/tran hold station xxxxx (The Conversant)
denial event 1644: Orig block/invalid digits
active station xxxxx (the Conversant)
idle attendent

It looks like the switch is not getting the VDN that the Conversant is passing. I am going to try and add a # sign on the end of the digits coming from the Conversant to see if that helps. But it doesn't seem like that would be it being that only the console's are having the problem.

suggestion, see if the permission to call extension has been activated. on page two of feature-access codes check the Group Control Restriction, and on page three check User Control restrict. If these are activated then it will block the ability to call other extension in the system.
