has anyone had a problem with their VAL boards locking. We get a problem where the VAL board stops playing the announcements and the only way to get them playing again is to re-seat the board. We get pages full of "no announcement available" msgs on Display Events (vector):
11 No announcement available 652/21 16AF 07/21/10:22 07/21/11:06 172 11 No announcement available 178/8 16BC 07/21/10:22 07/21/11:06 38 11 No announcement available 704/8 176E 07/21/10:22 07/21/11:05 69 We have replaced the VAL board. The MAC addresses are NOT the same as we swapped the VAL boards because this WAS a problem! but still we get this problem when we have high call volumes. Does anyone know what the announcement access capacity on the VAL boards is? Since they have a lot more storage capacity they are going to be accessed more. I know they have 31 playback ports. Does this mean it can only play 31 different announcements simultaneously? I know that you can have 1000 concurrent calls per announcement, but if an announcement is halfway through playing, will it play the same announcement through a different port? Any input appreciated, Cheers,
