statistics?

Is there any way to get any kind of statistics of how many phone calls go to each station and where they come from (internal vs. external)?

Re: statistics?

Call accounting will answer this question. This is an external computer using the CDR function.

Re: statistics?

How would a guy go about implementing something like that? Is the software something I would have to purchase separately or is that something I can get from Avaya's website?

Re: statistics?

Avaya does not sell Call Accounting software. There are several vendors that do that, the product we use here is sold by Veramark. There may be some freeware CAS software but I am not sure where to find it. Every CAS package I have seen requires a physical computer for it to be installed in. The connection to the PBX can be either a data module or IP.

I recommend Tapit. It's a powerful yet relatively inexpensive Call Accounting software package. Go here: http://www.trisys.com/tapit.htm and you can download a 30 day trial. If you like it then simply register it and keep on cooking.
