AUDIX Hunt Group Extension busy
When I call the hunt group that has the AUDIX station extensions I get a busy. When I call the individual station extension numbers they answer. When watching system monitor window the AUDIX ports answering and display .cim. I'm trying to setup the Voicemail application so that subscribers hear "Welcome to AUDIX, please enter......"
Thanx in advance |

Re: AUDIX Hunt Group Extension busy
Hi, Is your system an AUDIX LX? If the answer is yes, then you should check the AUDIX's system configuration. I would recommend to check the network config, specially the IP address and gateway. Also, check if the communication-channel on the PBX is configured and working ( "status link x" for a CLAN ).
If you made changes to your AUDIX configuration recently, donīt forget to execute the "audit translations" command. |

Re: AUDIX Hunt Group Extension busy
Cleanest way to setup Audix is make it a eas-mia hunt group and send calls via a vector. This lets you do lots of things in the vector like return a 'broken' message when Audix is down. If you have CMS it also permits the full slate of reports.
A single vector that says "messaging skill xxx for active" can be used to send an unlimited number of VDNs or stations to Audix for the "active" mailbox. What is the COR on the Audix hunt group? the Audix stations? Do a 'list trace' on your phone then dial the HuGp-Ext. |
