Adding station as operator
Hello All:
I have searched the forums and can't quite find the answer I need. First of all, I inherited the Avaya G3Si system. Currently all calls to the main number are routed to 3 phones that are part of a ddc hunt group (there is a main operator and when they are busy, rolls over, etc) We have a vector setup to control the hours when we are open and when the calls go the hunt group. This all works as expected. I am trying to ADD another station as another backup operator. The operators are logging into the hunt group (10) when they arrive and log out when then leave. I added the station to the hunt, made sure the COR and COS where the same, added the buttons to Auto-in, and aux-work and auto-out, assigned the same parameters, but the station DOES not log in and never gets a call (I put all the other phone on aux-work to force the calls to the fourth phone) One more thing I should mention, the phone I am trying to add is an Avaya IP phone, where as the others are just regular digital sets. I am stuck.....what am I missing? Thanks Tim |

Re: Adding station as operator
What is the software release of the Avaya PBX and are there other IP phones in the switch or is this the first one?
