deskphone and remote IP Phone
I have a users that we setup with an IP phone in his home. We made his office ext the main # to this IP phone and then assigned his office phone a 'soft' number, removed the call appearances and have only bridged appearances of the ext of the IP Phone.
He's saying his office phone sometimes is 'dead' and has to press the 1st line appearance more than once for it to come alive again. I know this has to do with the call appearances being removed but is there a specific setting I can tinker with the get this normalized? |

Re: deskphone and remote IP Phone
You don't say what type the office phone is nor the type of switch being used. Is the office phone also IP? If the office phone is multi-button, try putting the native 'call-appr' on, say, the 4th or some other button.
