Translation Corruption
I have a Prologix R6 with a translation corruption that comes up when I log in. There weren't any issues but all of a sudden it's acting up. I have rebooted the switch and the translations come up but the flashcard isn't recognized!?!? How is that possible? When I do a list config software it doesn't show the flashcard as being present either. Also I can log in as craft when that isn't the login I normally use. Anybody ever experience something like this?

Re: Translation Corruption
Did you replace the flash card recently? There is a difference in format & voltage requirements in the flash cards R6 7 R9 & up. Also, try another flash card (checking write protection) to see if the processor can see your flash card. You may have a processor problem

Re: Translation Corruption
Yes it is a release 6 and I have a 2 meg L10 flashcard. I tried to save to a different flashcard but it doesn't let me since there is a corruption. I have used a different processor and I just don't understand. When I check errors I get "CARD MEM ERROR TYPE 3329.....AUX DATA 21006" all on the same error line.

Re: Translation Corruption
See if you can format the flashcard. You will not see the command because it is one of those hidden commands.
Type "format" and hit the help key. If the command is available to you, you will see the format options. Since you have a 2 meg card your choice will be translations without announcements (you need a 4 meg card for announcements).
