Hello All,
We have a TIE trunk that is connected from our switch at corporate to a remote switch in another state. This allows our internal users to call the distribution center at our other site simply by dialing a trunk access code and then the extension of the person they are trying to reach. We are currently using 4 trunks of a T1 for this. I want to add some failover or rollover trunks to this app and not use anymore of the trunks on the existing T1. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? The TIE trunk does not use the ARS table at all for routing decisions. Is there a way to add trunks from another exisiting T1 to this? Thank you in advance for your help, Joel

Re: Tie Trunk Rollover
You can move trunk members from another group to this group if you would like. Only stipulation is that the type of DS1 board used is supported in your current group (should not be a problem with a simple TIE trunk group) and that the other end of the DS1 terminates at the same place..

Re: Tie Trunk Rollover
The only thing to be aware of is that since they are using TAC + station to make the call, the channels from the other T1 need to have that same capability.
