Re: correct number is not displayed
internal calls are perfect with no issues, only when they call outside for example mobile phone then they see incorrect name and phone number(they see same name and number even if they call from different extensions) being displayed. this is happening with all users.

Re: correct number is not displayed
Thanks Marty,
the person receiving the call on the cell phone sees incorrect number, and they see same number if they dial from any extension. But when list trace, LIST TRACE time data 17:38:06 active station 6870 cid 0x1b9 17:38:06 G711A ss:off ps:20 rn:1/1 10.54.128.55:2660 10.54.128.240:2152 17:38:06 xoip: fax:Relay modem:off tty:US 10.54.128.240:2152 uid:0x14 17:38:08 dial 006 route:ARS 17:38:08 term trunk-group 1 cid 0x1b9 17:38:11 dial 00608233474 route:ARS 17:38:11 route-pattern 2 preference 1 cid 0x1b9 17:38:11 seize trunk-group 1 member 1 cid 0x1b9 17:38:11 Setup digits 608233474 17:38:11 Calling Number & Name 0339178970 NO-CPName 17:38:11 Proceed trunk-group 1 member 1 cid 0x1b9 17:38:16 Alert trunk-group 1 member 1 cid 0x1b9 VOIP data from: 10.54.128.240:2152 the calling number i should see in switch is 033917896870 but it is showing 0339178970.. again user says on her mobile the number that is displayed is not what i see in switch!!! any clues please?? |

Re: correct number is not displayed
My guess is that Trunk group 1 does not consist of ISDN trunks and is sending the Trunk's number as assigned by your CO.

Re: correct number is not displayed
Yes and no. What type of DS1 is Trunk Group 1 's ports. So you look at like page 5 or 6 of trunk group 1, find which card it is and then display ds1 UUCSS. What "type" is it? It will hopefully be ISDN and not CO or something else.
However it does look like your Public Unknown numbering is causing this so you must have ISDN trunks. Are you seeing basically the number that is shown '03391789' with the last 2 digits of the extension ('70') on the cell phone? It looks like any extension with a leading 6 on trunk 1 will present 03391789 but since that is only 8 digits the last 2 come from the extension.

Re: correct number is not displayed
Sounds like what Fataldata said,, your CO is sending whatever the number assigned to your trunk is. You need to make sure that your CO has their trunk set to allow your PBX to override it, so you can send your digits..
I forget the exact term for it, but my LD provider had no problems,, my local provider was a completely different story,,, they will only allow the DIDs specifically assigned to their circuit to be outpulsed... |

Re: correct number is not displayed
sha111, would you check how the DS1 is set up and post. While I don't believe it needs to be ISDN to work, my understanding is that it needs to be a digital circuit not analog.

Re: correct number is not displayed
Some clarification please.
In post number 4 you say the cell phone display says 0339178970 on every call. In post number 10 you say the cell phone display says 0337896850 on every call. The first answer tells me the display is seeing what your ISDN public programming is sending out (as referenced in post 7). Why did the display change between post 4 and post 10? What am I missing?

Re: correct number is not displayed
Then you need to do what the other people have indicated, you need to contact your vendor and make sure they are passing the call data through that you have set.
Your ISDN public is set for 03391789xx so any call to a phone that displays incoming call data should have that shown, if it is not then your vendor is sending their default caller ID.
