Help

We have a situation that someone can possibly have an answer for.

Scenario:
  • We have 2 offices in Boston with their own PRI's and DID range and both use our MM in NY. They are both on S8300's.
  • 1 of the offices is set to close and the users are moving into the other building this Friday evening. Last week we had AT&T port the DID range 2900-2999 off the PRI and onto the other offices PRI (2000-2099) and we are routing the external/incoming calls via udp/aar. They can still make outgoing calls off the PRI even though there's no DID range.
  • Today we added a test number on the PBX that the users are moving into (not a production DID, but just a # in that range) and added a mailbox on our MM. The calls ring through fine and it covers fine to VM but we are getting no MWI. We've duplicated existing stations and this still doesn't work. We've created from scratch with the same results. The test #2912 is a DID that was ported that is an example. But if I create a station in range of #'s that is already on the circuit 2023 everything works fine (ring through, VM and MWI).
The MM resides in NY and there is an IP Trunk to both of those offices. The MM activity log shows MWI being sent but it's not lighting the telephone light.

Do you have any ideas on what is the issue and where it would be

Re: Help

I had the sma thing between sites and found the extension range was not in AAR to let modular messagng know where to sned the mwi signal. This corrected my issue.

Re: Help

fix was I had to do a 'cha isdn qsig-dcs-tsc-gateway' and just switch the signaling group number to point to the other site and it worked fine.
