s8300 analog board

I have an s8300/g700 with an analog board and things such as fax machine and modem were not responding. unfortunately we had an outside consultant come in that didn't have a 2500 set to plug directly to the card but he did indicate there was an alarm on the card. when displaying alarms in software it shows none. after moving these connections onto a different analog card the devices worked. is that normally how a board going bad behaves??

Re: s8300 analog board

Have you by chance tried to busy out and release the board, or unseat then reseat the board? Sounds like it might have just gone hyperactive.
