Remote DS1FD Stations

I have a challenge. Want to have up to 40 agents sitting at site B, log into skills in site A. Desktop PC registers to the on-site screen pop server.

There are 2 P2P T1s between the sites currently configured as ISDN Tie Trunks. They can remain trunks or be reconfigured to something else. (46 B channels)

I was thinking maybe using an "administered connection" in site A to connect to a phone in site B. But not sure how stable the admin connect is or how it would interact with the screen pop server.

Or, setup site A with IP Agents and site B with IP soft phones configured as Telecommuter. Site A would have ARS entries to launch the call to site B over the tie trunks. Desktop PCs at site B can be configured to register to the screen pop server at site A so maybe? would work.

This is a temporary, about 5 weeks, configuration then will be removed.

Any suggestions are welcome.

DCS networked? If so and you have callcenter turned on in both sites you could use best service routing with lookahead interflow.

Actually, you may not need DCS...

Server type? Release? It's hard to advise you with only a fraction of the required information: Before You Post In This Forum ...

Since this is a very temporary solution, the above plan would likely be the easiest "down and dirty" solution.

s8700, R3.1 on both ends. We made it work with IP Softphones over MPLS data channels. Ran into clitches with the screen pop server so gave up and will wait out the 5 weeks. Oh well. Thanks for the advise.
