Re: Change station security code

You must add a Station Security Code FAC. Goto page 910 of the following document for complete instructions:

Re: Change station security code

Hi Ahays,
Thanks for your guide , but I can not get the pdf file. The Avaya site did not re-act.
I have already the Station Security Code Change Access Code FAC on the screen feature-access-code . When I dial that FAC , only busy tone is heard and then I cannot do anything. Could you help me more.
Thanks

What "thing" have you done? Have you acquired the documentation?

Re: Change station security code

Hi Ahays
I have got the file 245205_5.pdf (doc ID 555-245-205 , Issue 5 , February 2007) from our vendor . I cannot download it from Avaya Support Site. And I have read page 910 as your guidance.

All I have done are as below.
DIAL PLAN ANALYSIS TABLE
Dialed String : * -- Total Length: 3 -- Call Type : fac .

FEATURE ACCESS CODE (FAC)
Station Security Code Change Access Code : *24

SECURITY-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS
Minimum Station Security Code Length : 4
Station Security Code for Terminal Self-Administration Required ? y

When dialing *24 , I hear fast busy tone ...

It is be noted that my IP hardphone is 1608 , but I use alias 4610 when adding the station because type 1608 cannot be keyed in Station screen .
Are there anything wrong ?

Many thanks ,
TTToan

Re: Change station security code

Your last message contained something that looked like a URL. Reply again without that.
