Al, I mean to say, Suppose I have started using CMS backup tape DDS4 today. What is expiry date of tape media. I talking about tape media and not data.

Those tapes are designed to be used hundreds of times. If you are interested in the physical life of the tape itself, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of the tape for that answer.
