Tn2198 Bri
I am going to install a TN2198 BRI board in an CM1.0 SI (R11) Definity switch. There seems to be some confusion using the TN778 Packet Interface board. The only information I have found is that the R6 CSI (Prologix) required this board. I can't seem to find any other documents stating that I do in fact need the TN778. Does anyone know the configuration that will work with my switch?

Re: Tn2198 Bri
What is your network controller? If your switch was installed as a release 11 your packet control is part of the network control card, if it was upgraded to release 11 there might be an issue that is easily answered.
Do you have any ISDN T1s in your switch? They require a packet bus to operate. The other thing you can do is get a flashlight, pop out the blank over the slot labeled for the packet interface and look at the back plane. If there are no pins there for a card to plug into you do not need a packet card.
