Removing Attendant Console

I used to have two active operators using 302 consoles on a G3r v10 they have both retired and I'd like to be able to direct "0" cals to a VDN, but I'm unsure how to do this. I'm also having problems removing the consoles from the switch, it keeps telling me to remove then from night service, however, I've checked the LDN, and our trunk groups and I can't find the numbers used anywhere, any suggestions where I should be looking?

The system must be in "night service" mode. You need to change this first. Either press the "night service" button on the main console or try to place a "night service" button on your own extension temporarily in order to get the system out of nights.

Next you need to remove the two attendants ... i.e. "remove att 1" and "remove att 2"

Once the attendants are gone you need to goto the dial plan (either "change dialplan" or "change dialplan ana" depending on your relaease) and change "0" from attendent to extension.

Finally, create a VDN or Extension with coverage path or Hunt Group, etc. with the number "0" as the extension number.

regs,

Re: Removing Attendant Console

Couple things....you will need to do into the dial plan and change the single digit "0" to and ext...then you can make it a vdn with no problem.

It's telling you about night service because one or both of the consoles were probably in the "'night" mode when unplugged...it happens all the time and is a pain...you will have to reconnect one of them to the old attendant ports and take them out of night service..then you will be able to remove them..
Give that a shot and see if that doesn't clear things up....
Good luck !!
