ISDN trunk coding mismatch
What is ISDN coding mismatch and Denial event 1178 normal call clearing?
When trying to call getting error "your call did not go through".. How do we resolve it? Thanks in advance. |

Re: ISDN trunk coding mismatch
An ISDN T1 requires B8ZS/ESF coding and framing to work, is this what it says on the DS1 form?
You do not say what switch and release you have and that can make a difference. For instance if you have a G3r you cannot use a TN767 for an ISDN-PRI circuit. Type this "test board <DS1 board>". You can cancel the tests after test 146 completes because all you are interested in are the span tests, not the channel tests. What test (if any) fails and the fail code? If test 144 fails, rerun the test and then tell us. Finally, is this a new circuit that you are just installing or is this a circuit that was working and quit? What does the vendor say?
