What specs are required for a wav file on the VAL board, ie 16bit, 8khz......

1. Make sure the announcement file format is as described in the following bullets. To check that go to Windows Explorer, right click on the wave file, go to properties, and look around. In my computer it can be found under the ‘Summary’ tab.
Ø CCITT A-Law or CCIT u-law companding format (do not use PCM)
Ø 8KHz sample rate
Ø 8-bit resolution (bits per sample)
Ø Mono (channels = 1)
