Re: IPSI, MEDPRO and CLAN

MedPro's and CLAN's can be checked via "get ethernet UUCSS"

IPSI's I believe can only be checked via their CLI interface. One way to check them from your desk is to telnet your server, then
Use the 'ipsisession -c UUC' command to enable telnet to the interface then telnet it and check. Then telnet the IPSI, do ipsilogin and enter your credentials.
Now I will say that I have no idea how to use the password presented by the 'ipsisession' command. I've tried it with my login name and root with no success. I have never been able to make it work and am thankful for the superuser credentials I discovered through interactions with other techs.
In the CLI type 'show port 1' to see how the ipsi is set up for duplex and speed.

If YOU wish to set it it will depend on what release you have. Older releases are "change ether" and the newer releases have the ethernet options on the actual ip-i page ... i.e. "change ip-i UUCCSS" and change auto to "n" to set the speed and duplex.
