I know that the TN464GP and the TN464HP will download the latest firmware but won't a TN464F work the same in a later release switch like 12 and up if I don't need to download the latest firmware? Does anyone know of compatibility issues or other issues with this. I havnen't heard of anything stopping the TN464F from working just not being able to download firmware from the FTP server.

I have TN767's and TN464F's working in a CM 3.5, no problems. Minimum vintages apply to the hardware and software environment.

PS - can you tell me how to make a post? I have a couple questions to throw out and can't seem to find the correct setup to let me start a new thread.

Thanks Colt. To start a new thread pick the forum you want to post in when you are directed to that forum on the top of the threads in the left corner you will see a button that says "start new thread". Or up in the left corner you can see the User CP button. Make sure that you have completed registration and if you still aren't able to contact the admin.
