DS1 errors

i think i just answered my own question but umm, shouldnt my ds1 card have lights lit up even if it has a trunk issue? i think the card must have died, no lights lit at all

Re: DS1 errors

It depends on how it is installed whether there will be any lights on. If you have an integrated CSU attached the status 3 LED will be green. If you are using an external CSU and there are no problems, all four status lights will be off. If there is traffic the amber LED will be lit. If there is a problem the red LED might be lit.

Reseating the board is one way to test it but make sure the amber light is off first. Status the trunk group to see if the ports not out of service.
