Re: G350 media gateway
login to the g350 via the console port, should be login = root, password = root. enter the command nvram init. that will erase all configs and put the gateway back to factory defaults. Keep in mind, you will loose ALL configed info, make sure this is really what you want to do prior to doing it.
Enjoy. |

Re: G350 media gateway
Are you using the console cable and adapter that came with the unit? I happen to be working on a G350 right now, and can connect to mine via console.
g350-001(super)# nvram ? Nvram commands: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- nvram initialize Initialize the nvram to its factory defaults. g350-001(super)# Depending on what release your G350 is at 26_33_0 is the most current (unless they changed it overnight) the first time you log in, it will make you change the password. Avaya has told me that they "prefer" that it gets reset to "rootroot". If that does not work you will need to find out who set the password and to what. Avaya has also told me that if that password is changed and you do not know it, they cannot get in either. (somehow I would think they have a backdoor). Good luck! |
