Echos on Announcements

We recently installed a S8720 CM4.0. Since the upgrade, when managers try to service observe a call. there is a echo. the callers and agents do not hear the echo only the service observer.
on the list trace below. the IP address that displays jitters are the medpro boards. the firmware on the medpros are up to the latest release and the switch is set to 100 full.

Is it the same service observer getting the echo, or is it all service observers (try it from multiple locations)? Do the service observers get any echo when on normal calls?

No, it's different service observers having the issue at any location.

I assume that this echo happens on all service observe attempts, and that the only time you get the echo is when service observing. That is something I have never heard of before. The jitter on the MedPro is questionable, but if it was that then you would think that every IP conversation would be hit with the same issue. If they all use the MedPro, then they should all get the same issue. The fact that the original call is fine, and only the service observing is having an issue is also weird. Have you talked to Avaya or your BP about this? Do they have any response?

Are the observers using an IP phone and using the speaker? Verify the echo is present only when on the speaker. If so, try setting the AGC options in the hard phone to "On". Note you must also 'enable' it.

The echo only happens on TDM phones not IP.

I'm having the identical issue. I have a ticket open with TSO, but I was wondering if anyone came across a solution? I have all zero's on jitter and pktloss. Other than that the identical problem. We've gone to a full IP connect system on S8710's 4.0.1 14300 and the firmware on all boards is at the latest as of today.
