CM2.1 Fax Server

I am trying to find a solution for CM2.1 implementing a fax server. I know that the LX has it built in and I think Intuity R5 will support that also but I can't seem to find documentation or anyone that has any other solutions. Does anyone know about this?

Re: CM2.1 Fax Server

There are several Fax Server systems available(check the Internet) the CM2 will support most of them. Use the UDP routing to a DS1 or TN747 trunking to the server(in most cases the server will us Brooktrout boards for the interface to the switch. Add the fax numbers to the UDP table routing and the CM2 will repeat the UDP number out on the trunking to the server. This is a standard setup for the FAX server applications.
