Re: CMS Supervisor
I am sure it is liscenced. I am not sure how to determine how many liscences you have, though Avaya may keep those records. Typically I have found that the packs of CDs with CentreVu (or any other user level software) on them have been misplaced so it is hard to know how many you actually purchased. At least in the older releases the primary enforcement of liscence limits was the number of concurent logins to CMS. So you could only have so many people logged in at the same time. I am not sure how it works with the most recent releases though. I would hope that Avaya would keep that info listed with your Sold To number, but since I have never asked I can't be certain.

Re: CMS Supervisor
It is really sad how little first tier support can actually do these days. I can't fault Avaya too much though. These days it seems like everyone has moved their first tier support to a model of mindless drones who can barely answer the phone and fill out a ticket. It is still better than what AT&T did with it's enterprise support line. With them you can't even get a mindless drone, all you get is an automated voice recognition system.

Re: CMS Supervisor
access your CMS server via terminal emulator, login as root. type cmssvc, then option 1 for auth_display. Near the bottom you'll see the amount of simultaneous Supervisor logins allowed.
